Good news from the masked dance producer SBTRKT: he’s finally working on a follow up to his 2011 self-titled debut. To show us a snippet of the sound he is generating he premiered a new track through the BBC’s Mary Anne Hobbs on her Radio 6 show on 9^th February.


SBTRKT is working on releasing a number of instrumental 12”s as a warm up to his second album, a full length LP, due to be released later on this year

He explained:
"These tracks will form a collection of vinyl 12"s before my next album and its singles, maybe a digital release, too. They'll be out in a couple of months. All instrumental stuff along the lines of the music I put out on Ramp or the early Young Turks releases, transitioning between my last album and the next one”.

The first of these tracks to be revealed is ‘Hold the Line’. Listen to the scintillating, bass-filled track below.
