Up and ready
to be purchased on iTunes for a minute 79p and streamed on Spotify, Malone Malone’s new single
Alone is a gem. A tighter sounding track than the bands previous single New Turn
(also available to listen on Spotify), Alone tells a candid monologue and features typically alert lyrics, rhythmic
drums and lively riffs. Despite the finer tuning, the bands trademark energy is
present and resilient.
The quartet, less than a year old, have clearly improved
and developed as a band in a short space of time. Having recently played
Birmingham’s One Beat Weekender and gigged at several venues, one of the most recent
being The Institute, it is clear the band are on the rise.
