Introducing: Crossfire

Crossfire are a four-piece alternative/ indie rock band from the shores of Hartlepool. With the new generations of UK bands cropping up it is rare for originality to be distinguished between them. However, having only released two tracks, it is evident from these tracks alone that Crossfire are unique.
Their track ‘First Blood’ consists of striking and hypnotic guitar riffs and pulsing bass. These elements, paired with the broody and cautious lyrics to the girl entrapping the persona: ‘set me free, you gotta let me be’, make for a brilliant debut.
With a content tone and unbroken beat, ‘Meet You At The Station’ is an equally good track. A reminiscent and carefree attitude is mixed with beach-pop feel-good riffs, vivid lyrics and unique vocals with elements of nostalgia.
Even with only two-tracks available online, the bands own brand of indie-rock is already distinctive. Available on their Bandcamp and Soundcloud, Crossfire’s quirky debut tracks are definitely worth a listen.
