LOVATS are a
five-piece alternative/indie band hailing from Birmingham. Forming in December
2012, the band have attained a readily growing fan base and have a string of successes
under their belts, becoming a regular attraction in the Midlands music circuit.
In such a short time, they have headlined the 02 Academy 3, supported The
Musgraves, played Leamington Peace Fest and received airplay from the likes of
Wolverhampton Radio Station, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing all whilst
playing numerous gigs around the Midlands.
The bands newest
release ‘White Fire’ demands attention with broody, powerful lyrics, throbbing bass
and upbeat guitar rhythms. A slow, pulsing and definitely Foals-influenced intro
opens the track, shooting straight into four minutes of candid-pop riffs and keys completed with almost anthemic, gripping vocals.
